My beef with MOST Arabs today

I'm starting to find that alot of Arabians today are losing that "typiness" so treasured in the breed. I don't know whether its because breeders just don't realize that the horses they are breeding are starting to lose it or what. I also don't know whether its just the Arabs down here where I live in Nova Scotia.
I plan on getting into breeding Arabs in the next few years, (changing from Ponies and QH/Paints), and I want to try and focus on bringing back the extreme typiness, with that wonderful "in your tent" personality. Its not that Arabians today aren't "typy", but they seem to be getting a little coarser. Example, don't you find that their ears don't seem to be as "Araby" as they used to be?

Arab of the week

I've decided to start off with a Arabian stallion that is my personal favorite. He was the Triple Crown winner in 1980, (no, not the Triple Crown of racing!); and he was also a Straight Russian straight from the famous Tersk Stud in Poland. One guess. No takers? His name is *Muscat.
